Many if not all of Positive reviews here for 800notes can be considered nothing more than Shilling. If you like a service, would you go out of your way to find a website where people are posting negative/bad experiences?

Not likely. The only reason anyone would do this is to attempt - to discredit their critics, cover up their bad behavior & self promote. - aka Shilling. A shill, also know as a plant or a stooge, is a person who publicly helps or gives credibility to a person or organization without disclosing that they have a close relationship with the person or organization.

A shill may also act to discredit opponents or critics of the person or organization in which they have a vested interest through character assassination or other means. Most shills attempt to give the impression of an enthusiastic customer independent of the company, web site or *** artist, for whom they are secretly working. The person or group in league with the shill relies on crowd psychology to encourage other onlookers or audience members to do business with the seller or accept the ideas they are promoting. It is clear that the stooges/shills/tolls from 800notes are here to shill and troll in a most unprofessional manner.

If you look deeper into many of the reviews you will see the self promotion, denials & projection of bad behavior & nasty name calling attempting to discredit the negative /bad experiences other have had. These moderators/registered users have nothing better to do than cause trouble by attacking people that comment here with "false" accusations without proof or facts. When they are asked to provide proof they are silent - no facts - no proof - just fiction. Look closely at all the reviews.

It's easy to see what these cyber-bullying, self centered twits are up to. The bullies from 800notes are stalking their victims here in an attempt to shut down those that have called them out! if you are here to support 800notes.com please provide proof and facts. Your false accusations, magical thinking, cyber bulling prove you are nothing more than social misfits.

If you want the complaints to stop, then stop the bad behavior. It's that simple!

The truth is besides the real reviews people post about that 800notes site, there are the 800notes trolls, ex-800notes troll(s), the PC Troll and normal people with an opinion of both all posting comments.

As for the person who keeps saying its all from one person, that troll is the only one who is actually posting the same junk over & over & over.

if looks like a pig, act's like a pigs, and can make baby pigs .... it it a pig!

Read the entire review - twice! Then read the comments here and other reviews about 800notes- all of them. If you read objectively with reason and logic it is crystal clear to see that 800notes supporters are coming to this forum to shill, troll, discredit, dismiss, deny and bully the reviewers that have had negative/bad experiences.

not one of the supporters of the site ever acknowledges the legitimacy of the bad reviews. That in an of it self is telling.

"If you like a service, would you go out of your way to find a website where people are posting negative/bad experiences? Not Likely."

That blanket answer of "Not Likely" is inaccurate and makes assumptions that do not apply.

For example, I found this site and this post as a direct result of 'Googling' "800Notes" just to get the URL for the website, after a search for a new, unknown caller's number did not turn up with a forum post at the "800Notes" website. I wasn't interested in trying to 'dig up dirt' on "800Notes" but because I had searched for that term on Google, i naturally received links to sites that were posting negative reviews about a site that I use on a regular bases in an attempt to identify callers that call but do not leave messages.

Since I have been using "800Notes.com" for several years for that purpose and have never had any issues, I was naturally curious to see why people were complaining about and what was being said. As I say, I have been using that site for several years for the purpose of identifying whether an unknown caller is (spammer, scammer, fraud attempt to steal ID/credit card information) and to share my experience/information about my calls from an unknown number.

So, the answer to the question of whether people will go out of their way to find negative information about a service they like is: They don't have to go out of their way, at all. Nor do they have to intentionally search for such negative information. All they have to do is enter an appropriate 'search word or phrase' and it all magically appears in the Google search results pages. I only searched for "800Notes" to get the webpage URL.

I got that link and right below it was the URL for the complaints filed here and another negative reporting site right below that.

The more correct question should probably have been: Would people be willing to going a site to read negative reviews about another website or service that they personally like?

If they have a curious nature, like me, the answer is a resounding, "Yes!" If not, they will probably ignore links to those negative reviews and simply go to their beloved site and do their business as usual. And since I've admitted that I use the "800Notes" site, I should also point out that I am not a registered user, nor am I a shill for them (especially since I am not being paid to be a shill).

If I a bad experience with a site or service, I have no difficulties with posting a negative review of it, if attempts to resolve my issue with the site, directly, fail. To date, I have not had any bad experiences at "800Notes" nor have any of my posts been deleted, to my knowledge. But I use it simply as a research resource for any unknown number that calls me; and I post my experience and any information I may have discovered about that caller to inform others. As for comments related to cyber bullying and similar abusive behaviors, it is a fact that being rude and hateful online has become the norm, rather than the exception.

It seems that the concept of being polite, respectful, and treating others as you would like to be treated is almost as much a fantasy as Santa Claus.

However, the same can be said for the correct use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in internet/forum postings. :D

Your story doesn't make much sense, you said: (I have been using "800Notes.com" for several years), but you had to google a simple address you should know so well from years of use?

_

Your speech sounds more like the "damage control" style of post, a well known term used by 800notes 'staff'.

Perhaps you are what you say and haven't had any problems or posts deleted. But it doesn't mean the people who have had a bad experience were as knowledgeable about 'how things work' there, as you are.

_

Its trial & error on a message board site where people have no rules on which to base ethics of what they want to say. The diversity of people's belief's/ understanding of things vary greatly and people don't know what those cyberbullies are considering the 'proper' thing to say.

People just tend to say what they know and rational people will discuss disagreements in a civil manner, not badger people with the 3rd degree or make fun of them.

_ The TOS is not followed as the cyberbullies roaming there claim. Its merely an excuse they use and make false statements towards those who have a disagreement with anything on that site. There is no rationalizations with them, they have the power & the backing of the administration to do whatever THEY want, regardless if people understand or not.

_ So i'm not really sure what it is your attempting to convince people of.

Its a fact they do come here and 'shill' for the purpose of discrediting reviews, misleading visitors with phony conflicting stories and spreading confusion until the posts that matter are buried under a lot of nonsense post made by these shills. Anyone with common sense can come to the same conclusion by reading through these reviews.

Good for you. You have never had a bad experience.

What logical conclusion are you attempting to make?

The key word you dispute is "likely -probably or apparently destined" is not a superlative ( all or nothing / black or white / 0 or 1 )it is based on probability of the probability something will happen. I just asked 15 people at random " if you are satisfied with a product or service how "likely" are you to go seek a site that is posting negative experiences and then post your own positive experience. All said they would not.

The only reason they offered to look up this type of information is if they were researching the product/service before they used it or after they had a bad experience. This does not mean they if I asked 100 people 100 would all agree it just means that most "Likely" people satisfied not. I asked if they did go upon having a positive or neutral experience would they then write about it and all said no. Maybe you are the exception or the outlier.

I would be interested in all the link to posts you have made on pissedconsumer.com about products/service you have had good experiences and have posted. I suspect none but maybe you will surprise us.

Again, the reason why people are here " 800notes.pissedconsumer is because they are pissed - Duh!

Your comments or your experience does not negate the experience of those that have had bad /negative experiences with the moderators from 800notes.

Your premise & logic is faulty.

I've never died as a result of a faulty product or as a direct result of another persons actions, but it does not mean that others have not died as a result. Not sure where you live or who you associate with, but being rude, disrespectful, mean is NOT the norm or the standard which should be tolerated.

It's not tolerated where I work & live and certainly not the norm. Allowing it to be the norm is part of the problem!

to Scott: In another post you claim you use a call blocker - how do you know anything about a caller from a call blocker if you do not pick up to the phone?

You don't know who is calling, whether the call is legitimate or not, if it is a wrong number, or if the number has been spoofed.

Sharing info that a number id came up on your phone provides no value to anyone without concrete information & facts.

Again, people do look up services/product before they use them but it is unlikely - "low probability" that if they already use the product/service that they will seek out a negative review site to write their positive experience or even attempt at a rebuttal.

Clearly being dismissive of those with claims make you look like a stooge. You don't have to paid to be a stooge.

I agree 1000%. Just experienced the same cyber bulling as others have posted here.

Based on the reviews & comments I have seen here as well as my brief experience at 800notes, "getting slapped down & ganged up on" for asking a question it is clear that there are moderators from 800notes come here to do nothing but cause trouble in an attempt to justify or divert attention from their bad behavior.

What I find odd ( I'll never go back) is that 800notes promotes it self as an information source.

Yet the sites' moderators engage in picking fights with people (who bring information to 800notes) when they do not like or agree with the information being posted. They call people names, make rude comments and call the other moderators to gang up on to do the same (group bullying). They are easily frustrated and get angry quickly as they have no patience to seek understanding. Quick tempered, angry, easily frustrated are not good qualities for any support position.

If 800notes moderators behaved like Professionals the moderators would not interact with the users unless they are providing positive direction. They would also be responsible for validation of a persons claim & comment in a professional (non inflammatory/ non confrontational) manner. All posts should be left intact with a moderator commenting professionally with "facts" & not opinion" - trolling & shilling ( users and moderators) speaks for itself.

Sadly the moderators are unprofessional easily frustrated and quick to anger.

This behavior is typical of someone with either emotional/social problems &/or poorly educated.

Good news is that this site is becoming irrelevant with many of the new apps & sites ( www.truecaller.com, www.okcaller.com, https://thatsthem.com/phone, www.skipease.com/reverse-phone-number-lookup ) & others that provide real time crowd source information with NONE of the Drama & Psycho Interaction you may experience at 800notes.

I notice most of these negative comments seem to be from people suffering the exact same grammar problems and apparent socioeconomic status as the OP who has posted countless complaints on the subject. What are the odds?

@JeepSux... your the PC troll who posts both a question, then answers it.

You've made many posts that your the only one who is posting.

Example; your Review (Craigslist - Chevy Silverado 1994) is all you.

Did you read what you wrote? it makes little sense, lacks clarity and is vague with no point.

could have multiple interpretations. Can you be more specific? What negative comments / made by who?

What is an "OP"? What odds do you mean?

Check your grammar and try to rewrite so that anyone would under stand what the heck you mean.

Dear Rhonda, can you identify the grammer problems for us? Also please help us understand the socioeconomic status?

Guest

Can you explain exactly what you mean by "grammar problems and apparent socioeconomic status as the OP"?

I'm not holding my breath.

Apparently, rhonda and many of the supporters of 800notes seem to make statements that have no proof or have any factual basis. When Asked as I have done they never come forth with anything to substantiate their claims.

This guy is yet again approaching two pages of comments (mostly his own) so keep an eye out for the next "complaint" on this site. See this is why autistics should not be permitted access to the internet.

Yes, the 800aux creeps always finding fault while exploiting posters weaknesses. Sadly, a registered poster mentioned having mild autism under this thread "shills & trolls and weirdos (oh my)" This is the same *** that accused another poster of being a "sexist" under one of the complaints on pissedconsumer.

Anonymous #125**** Get a life Dude, I feel sorry for you and the other moderators that seem to have noting to do but follow people around -- wow Crazy.

*Try to put your big boy pants on.

Once you've done that try to make an attempt to be a grown up and provide some value instead of just wa wa boo hoo whining!

**BTW what is the point of your comment?

Is it too long for you to read or comprehend? Let's see if you can write a logical coherent response.

This Anonmouse 800notes shiller is always using his own actions here as the basis of those same, repetitive accusations, so keep an eye out for the next ...."OMG! 800notes is Spectacular, Awesome, Fantastic, Greatest thing since the invention of the telephone!"....

to appear with the same shill review saying, ... " It saved me from a scam!"... and ..." I learned so much over the years!"....

.

Now thats why autistics are smarter than 800notes trolls and they are the ones who shouldn't be permitted access to the internet!
